There's so much going on at the moment! Lots of fun stuff to do!
Getting close to some time off work! And I'm going to see Lee Evans tonight!
IRP thinks he's so funny! So when I saw that he was coming to town I got some tickets straight away. Scored some brownie points there

I was in my very first traffic jam yesterday. I didn't enjoy it much, and it turned out to be an extra special long one as well! The usual 25 minute trip from work took nearly 90 minutes and was pretty much a crawl the whole way!
I was bored as well, because my stereo wasn't working. Or at least I thought it wasn't, which is why I'd made an appointment to get it fixed.

So I finally got to the stereo mechanic man yesterday. He took one look at it, pushed exactly one button, and the thing sprang back to life... How embarrasing!Very funny!

Last night, IRP took me out for a meal and it was exactly 6 months since our first date. We had some nice food. The travelling fair is on the common this weekend for the bank holiday, so we went there after dinner, and IRP won me a teddy. I got to pick one, and found one with the same name as IRP so now I've got a mini cuddly version of IRP.

Today, the weather is just the best, so I'm off to the beach in a mo, after a spot of lunch. I love that's it's a long weekend!!!

Finally, I own my own car! It's brilliant!!!!

We picked her up this morning. IRP drove her back, but we stopped along the way for me to have a little play with it. This afternoon, I've been zippin' round town to get used to the car. And I drove it around to show it off to some friends!

It's a lovely little car, drives well, and it looks sooooo cute! Pic to follow shortly.

Driving's been great. Taking it out again in a minute!

I've named it Bunny, after Bunnybunbunbun of course, but also after the easter bunny because it's easter-yellow.

Picking up my new car tomorrow! Woohoo!!!!!
Settled on the yellow(!) Alto in the end. I can't wait! Did lots of driving last night, and it went swimmingly(?), so I will not be a menace on the roads!

Rushed off my feet at the moment! Doing near enough three jobs all at once. Work's gone manic. The new job which I officially start on the 25th has started already with meetings nearly every day this week. This is now affecting my old job, which is busy as well as loads of people are on holiday...

On top of all this work I'm trying to maintain a social life and spend time with IRP. It's becoming quite a challenge!
Also seriously looking to buy a car as I'll need one for the new job. Looked at a saxo last night, but didn't like it much. Saw a peugeot 106 today, which was ok... Tony is looking at a Suzuki Alto (new model) tomorrow. It's cheap and cheerful, and economic to run. It's got mixed reviews, but all I really need a a little car (parking comes at a HUGE premium where I live) which doesn't cost much and gets me to and from work (15 minutes of town driving and 10 minutes on the motorway). It's a 53 Reg and it's done only 19000 miles.

Anyway, gotta dial into another meeting tonight so best get on... Won't finish much before 10 tonight... feeling suitably sorry for myself
