I wish I had all the right answers,
but I don't even have all the right questions...

yeah, probably not all of them, but right questions exist I think, as do wrong ones when they miss the point of whatever the issue is

Perhaps my question was the wrong one then? I like the way you tell me I'm missing the point

-

OH no, sorry, wasn't trying to say that at all. Just been pondering stuff, but can't get to the point of it, so don't have the right questions, let alone the answers...
-
- 08 Nov. 2007 @ 21:08:17
Oh. That's slightly disappointing. I thought I'd just been on the receiving end of a very subtle jibe.
Pondering stuff only leads to confusion, but that's no reason to avoid it.-
- 08 Nov. 2007 @ 21:12:35
Well, it's gotta be done sometimes

I would like to have ALL the answers tho.
-

Would you really (honestly) like to have all the answers??? I think that would be dull.
I think most of us knew everything when we were teenagers and that's not the best time.-
- 09 Nov. 2007 @ 19:48:37
As teenagers, likely we certainly thought we knew it all.
It probably would be dull, but if I had all the answers I could solve all the problems in the world, like famine, poverty, inequality of any kind etc. That would make the world a happy place...
yeah yeah I know, if happines is the norm, you wouldn't know you're happy but still, as it's never gonna happen anyway, I like to imagine it

I have to admit that the answers to famine and the like would be good things to have. The more it goes on it looks like the corrupt few will continue stopping the majority getting decent food, shelter, and medical care in some places.
Much as I dislike the company he created, it does give some faith back in humanity that there are people like Bill Gates doing what he can. Also, people like Bob Geldof and Bono get loads of stick from the cynical ones (a bit ironic me saying this) but I'm convinced their motives are pure, and that the world would be a better place if more influential people used their positions in similar ways.

ooh right questions, right answers...
i don't think it matters if u ask the right questions. u can never guarantee if you'll get the right answers.
not trying to be too negative there!-
- 09 Nov. 2007 @ 08:44:03
Depending on what the question is, as long as they're right for you.

This reminds me a bit of the "Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" when the most sophisticated computer was asked to provide the 'answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything'.
Probably you are twenty years to young for that radio programme!-
- 09 Nov. 2007 @ 08:44:54
Hmmm, I've heard of it that show, or the film of it at least...

-
- 09 Nov. 2007 @ 02:43:03
I think if you had all the answers to all the questions there would be no room left for making stuff up and that is the best bit :¬)
-
- 09 Nov. 2007 @ 08:43:16
Well, thank you Bun! I like your thinking!

-
- 09 Nov. 2007 @ 15:07:50
Isn't the right answer 42?
-
- 09 Nov. 2007 @ 15:43:21
I think you might just be right! Now what's the question?

OptimisticCynic
Do the right questions exist?
